Once you are logged in to your account:

Click "Create".

Select your Reading Selection.

Select your preferred Reading Schedule (select Custom Schedule, if available, to create your own).

Select an alternate Starting Point (optional), and click "Submit".
You will begin receiving your daily or weekly reading by email
immediately, with audio links included for the scripture schedules. Create as many reading schedules as you wish - only one per book, however.

When you have completed your daily or weekly reading, click on the "Completed"
button at the bottom of each email to receive the next reading assignment the
following day*/week**. Your next reading assignment will only be emailed to you
once you have clicked on the "Completed" button. If you would like to
read ahead, click on "Send More" to receive the next reading selection
immediately.

Alternatively, you may login to your account and click on the "Read Online"
button contained within each schedule. This will open your scripture reading at
your current position to allow you to read from your schedule online. There
will be a "Completed" button to click on at the bottom which will advance
your schedule and return you to your account to view your progress. If you wish
to read more, the "Read Online" button will have changed to "Read More"
and will open your next scheduled reading. The email you receive the following
day will then correlate with the position you have advanced to.
If you complete your scripture reading online, as described above, you will
have the ability to include personal notes.
Click on the note icon located at the beginning of each verse. This will open a
textbox which will allow you to enter personalized notes. These notes will be
saved only when you click on the
"Complete" button at the end of your
reading.
To view your notes:

Click on "Notes"
within your account.

Click on the book of scripture to view the list of all saved notes within that
book.

To edit or add to your notes, or to view the scripture content pertaining to a
note, click on the scripture reference to open the chapter.

A green note icon indicates the verse/s for which notes have been saved.

Edit or add additional notes as desired.
-
Click on the "Save Notes"
button to save any changes.

Navigate through the scripture books to locate your various notes.
Your notes are completely searchable by entering text into the
"Search Notes"
box and clicking on
"Go".
Also, if you complete your scripture reading online, you can highlight your favorite scriptures!
When you open your online reading, click the pink highlighting pen in the top right corner and select one of the available colors. Then click and select
any text or verse you wish to highlight (maximum one verse at a time). You may use multiple colors, and your highlighting will be saved and will
be viewable every time that scripture is accessed!
If you wish to delete the highlighting from a verse, click the small highlighting pen icon that will be
displayed at the beginning of that verse.
Click
"Journal" to make secure and private online Journal entries.

Click on the clock icon to set up daily, weekly, or custom email reminders.

Enter a title for your entry.

Click "Add Picture" to upload a picture with a description to each entry.

Enter a date or use the calendar to make or update past entries.

Click "View" to compile and print your complete journal.

Click "Export to Word" to download and print or save.

Search within all entries - enter a word in the text box and click "Go".
Having a private Scripture Reading Team is a wonderful way to track and
motivate friends' and family members' reading progress.

Enter the "Teams"
section from within your account.
-
Click on "Create Team" to enter and submit a name for your new team.
- This team name will appear under your My Scripture Teams list. Click on this team
name to view, build and manage your team.

Click on "Invite" and the email address of each individual you wish to invite to your team,
then "Send Invite".
- As each member receives their invitational email, they will click on the link
provided within that email to join your team. They will be prompted to login to
their account and then they will be automatically added to your team. (If they
do not already have an account, they will first be required to Sign up, and
then will need to click on the link within the email.)
- Once they have accepted the invitation and have joined your team, their name,
book schedule/s and progress bar/s will appear with yours on the "Member Progress" page.

Click "Settings" to choose the reading selections you wish to include and display in the team.

Use "Comments" to view all the team member comments that have been submitted to the team. Click "Post A Team Comment" to submit a new comment or discussion to the entire team.
- Each team member will receive an email notification when new comments are posted to
the team.
- When viewing the comments, each member will be able to "Edit" or "Delete" their own messages. The team owner has the ability to "Edit" or "Delete" any or all messages.

Under the "Member Comments" tab, each team member:
- Can upload their own profile picture, by clicking on the "No Photo" box. This will re-direct to your "Profile" page where you can browse to locate a picture to upload.
- Can upload their favorite quote/scripture. Enter your favorite quote or scripture in the box on your "Profile" page of your account to have it display beside your picture in your teams.
- Click on other team members' image icon to view their picture and favorite quote or scripture.
- Click on each team members' progress bar to view schedule statistics.
- Send a Prompt to any other team member by clicking on the Prompt icon, and then select which prompt you wish to send to an individual team member. It includes a message that will be sent, or modify the message as you wish. It can be a prompting for motivation or a comment of praise. That team member will receive an email indicating they have received a prompt in the Notifications section of their Read The Scriptures Mailbox.

You may create up to 20 different teams of your own, but you are unlimited to
the number you can join and therefore view within your account.

Only the team creator may invite members to the team.

Only the team creator may delete a team.
